Light the Night

First off, just let me say it: this design was downright fun.

Commissioned as part of First Baptist's annual "Light the Night" fall festival, the church's program of games (and candy), hayrides (and candy), and person-to-person Gospel witness is well-known as a safe alternative to the more traditional tricks and treats of Halloween night. People all across the community make their way every year, and part of what guides them is the giant spotlight positioned atop the church. This light became the inspiraton for our design, and that, my friends, is when the real fun began.

We copied the church's logo into 3D space (shout out to Batman here) and positioned it in the sky to press home the message that true salvation is found —not in a superhero— but in Christ alone.
